If you love New England-style Pale Ales but want to skip the alcohol, Nirvana Blossom Hazy Pale Ale could be your new go-to. Part of Nirvana Brewery’s limited-edition spring/summer lineup, this hazy 0.5% ABV brew packs big aroma and flavour into a low-alcohol package  perfect for sunny days or mindful evenings.

About Nirvana Brewery

Based in East London, Nirvana Brewery is the UK’s first and only dedicated alcohol-free brewery. Launched by Becky Kean in 2016, Nirvana was born from a mission to create flavourful, craft-quality alcohol-free beers that don’t compromise on taste.

All beers are brewed in-house using traditional methods  just without the booze  and they’ve built a strong following among fans of mindful drinking.

Introducing Nirvana Blossom Hazy Pale Ale

A limited-edition release for 2025, Blossom is a hazy, fruit-forward Pale Ale in the NEIPA style. It’s dry-hopped with Citra, Krush, and Mosaic, and brewed with Vienna malt and oats to give it a creamy body and subtle honey sweetness.

My Review:

Aroma

Crack it open and you’re hit with a strong malty, hoppy aroma, underpinned by notes of citrus and tropical fruits. It smells like summer.

Appearance

It pours a rich, hazy golden-yellow with a persistent head. It looked a little flat at first glance, but the carbonation was spot on once poured.

Taste & Mouthfeel

There’s an immediate burst of malty, hoppy flavour, quickly followed by layers of citrus, peach, and a touch of honey. The oats add a creamy texture, and the gentle fizz gives it a satisfying mouthfeel.

If I’m nitpicking, it felt ever so slightly watery at times but that’s a minor gripe for an otherwise standout alcohol-free NEIPA.

Final Verdict

I’m a big fan of NEIPA-style beers, and this one ticks all the boxes. It’s flavourful, well-balanced, and super drinkable, with a lovely combo of fruitiness and malt depth. Plus, the can art by Carl Stimpson adds a fun seasonal touch.

If you’re looking for a refreshing, alcohol-free pale ale with character, Nirvana Blossom is well worth a try.
